History and Heritage

Historic Jelich Ranch is located in Portola Valley, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. A working orchard for over 100 years, it was owned by the Jelich family until May of 2000.  Since then, it has been restored to its early glory and has been a certified organic orchard since 2003.  The Jelich orchard still has antique apple trees that are near 80 years old.
